Lifting Young Voices
Sharing the choral tradition with children from all backgrounds
What we do
Lifting Young Voices is a choral music education programme, working across local primary schools (including Church of England, Roman Catholic and non-faith/community schools).
We aim to engage all children in the joy of choral music and offer schools support in the delivery of a uniquely practical and highly engaging music curriculum, whilst embedding a strong culture of singing in these schools.
We open up new pathways for children to grow in their singing, both in school and in the wider community, as they progress into our LYV choirs, joining a community of young singers and developing a lifelong love of music.

We work with Parishes throughout Southwark Diocese, helping them to build their own outreach project and choirs.
